<<>> Skeleton Retablos <<>>

Originating in Peru and Mexico, contemporary skeleton retablos are created to represent scenes from everyday life. This art form is based on the Day of the Dead artworks and altars. Students used upcycled materials and sculpted with Model Magic to assemble a skeleton retablo representing an activity of their choice. Students brought in objects from home to enhance their projects. One student even 3D printed a car for an off roading retablo. Great job 5th grade!
