:: Jen Aranyi inspired landscapes:: Hatching and Stippling Jen Aranyi inspired landscapes Inspired by Da Vinci & Dürer , fifth grade students practiced the Renaissance drawing techniques of stippling, hatching and crosshatching. Next, we studied contemporary artist Jen Aranyi’s use of these techniques in her landscapes and created our own mountain artworks. The watercolor and salt paintings add a vivid sky with gel pen star details. Excellent job 5th grade!
