Kindergarten students traced, cut, glued to create cardinals on a snowy landscape. First grade students learned how to blend watercolor and used experimental brushes to add trees. Then, a fox became the focal point of the winter landscape.

Snowmen at Night !

Second grade reviewed this fun picture book looking for full moon highlights, shadows and snow people details. Together, we traced overlapping circles and learned how to blend oil pastels using color value to show our round shapes. They each added their own details and background to complete a unique snow person.
