::: Celtic Knots :::

Celtic Knots are continuous lines that symbolize love, friendship and eternity in Irish culture.  They are also, a great way to train the brain to draw what it sees plus, improve hand and eye coordination.  Buker fourth grade students in Mrs. Aikins' class worked hard to achieve their designs.  First, they choose a knot after trying a few on a worksheet.  Next, they sketched their knot in pencil on a square or rectangle piece of final drawing paper.  When the drawing was complete, they used metallic, black and color Sharpies to finish the artwork.  I am so impressed with their dedication to the design and perseverance in trying something new.  Great job 4A grade!
