:: Back to Art at Buker! ::

It was great to see all the students back at school and ready to create!

Fifth grade students started a new painting and collage project based on the nature artwork of John James Audubon.

Third grade students continued their study of Klimt's use of line and pattern based on his paintings.  They created foam stamps and stamped with metallic paint.  Then, drew patterns and designs with metallic sharpies to complete the artwork.

Fourth grade students created an icy background with tissue paper and glue.  The designs reminded me of mosaics.  This Thursday, they will frame it and add a collage penguin doing an activity of their choice.

Stay tuned for this week's post to see second grade's The Little House paper weave and drawing!
