Phonics, letters & drawing with Kindergarten 

Fourth and second grade students studied highlights and shadows on 2D drawn objects.  They saw how artists use these techniques to create the illusion of a 3D object on a flat surface, paper.  We used bubbles to draw the effects of highlights and demonstrate how to use line to show a rounded object.  Plus, they observed the colors of the bubbles and added it in.  They did a great job!

Kindergarten students discussed letters, print, letter sounds, and words to draw the letter of their first name.
